Otranto Road Regional Library and the Charleston
County Public Library is pleased to offer ILLiad, the Inter
Library Loan Internet Accessible Database, starting
March 1, 2012. ILLiad enables patrons to take control of their
interlibrary loan requests by creating an online account,
then entering requests via that account. Patrons will be
able to track the status of their requests by logging

Donating books and other materials to Otranto Library
Are you interested in donating books or other items from your home or office, but are not sure of the process? The following may answering some of your questions.
What materials are accepted?
Donations of books, videocassettes, DVDs, records, computer software, compact discs, cassette tapes (spoken books or music) that are clean and in good condition are accepted.
Where do donations go?
All sale items are donated by library patrons and book lovers. Money raised at the sales is used for supplemental books and materials for the library, and to bring speakers, film series and special events and activities to you! If you have used books that you would like to donate to the Friends of the Library, call or stop by any branch location.
Are these donations tax deductible?
Yes. Contributions of The Friends of the Library are tax deductible. A receipt is available upon request. Just ask a Library Staff Member for one.
